Thank you for your interest in the Let's Give Praise! event.
This fundraiser is taking place on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. It is being hosted by the Eastern Hills Bible Church (directions).
Entrance Criteria:
- Amateur choirs of 4 - 50 people in size (no bands, please)
- Song choice must glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
- Song selection must not be longer than 5 minutes
- All participants must dress modestly
- Registration forms and fees submitted by Wednesday, September 15.
Event Judging Criteria:
- Good vocal skills
- Quality of sound/matched resonance
- Creative arrangement of the spiritual song
- Artistry and finesse
- Strong rapport with the audience.
Registration Information:
- Large choir fee (20 - 50 people): $75.
- Medium size choir fee (13 - 19 people) $50.
- Small size choir fee (4 - 12 people) $25.
- Registration and fee must be received by Tuesday, August 31, 2010.
- Choirs will be notified of their acceptance by phone or email before September 9, 2010.
- There is only time for twelve choirs to participate in the Let's Give Praise! competition, so the governing committee will choose which twelve groups shall perform. Their decision will be final. Groups that will not be performing will have their registration fee returned (minus a 25% processing fee).
Other Information:
- Audience tickets are $10/adult, $5/child (12 and under). No nursery is provided.
- Vendor tables are available for $20 and all items being sold must be pre-approved.
- Choirs may obtain a table for $10 to sell their recordings or any individual artistic CD.
- Doors will open at 4:00 for set-up.
- Refreshments will be available for purchase.
